So … why Jimena?

Jimena was the capable, loyal and patient partner of El Cid during the Reconquista. It’s been a thousand years and they are still remembered

I began using it when my other alias ended up being nicked in the otherworlds and I couldn’t be bothered inventing a hundred different names. 🌹 Guess I’m counting on the general online lack of a deep classic education. There are after all upsides to an old school upbringing. I can set a fancy table, play the piano and hold a conversation about anything from art through the weather to current events. Conversation is a useful skill to have, so is being nice and smooth in public. However, I never learned French or ballet, to my pretentious grandmother’s dismay.

They tried tennis on me and it didn’t stick. I was so much happier around books music and art, but I did like swimming and orienteering (wasn’t good, just enjoyed it)
